New Life lyrics
I stand still stepping on the shady streets
And I watch that man to a stranger
You think you only know me when you turn on the light
Now the room is lit with dangerComplicating, circulating
New life, new life
Operating, generating
New life, new lifeTransition to another place
So the time will pass more slowly
Features fuse and your shadow’s red
Like a film I’ve seen now show meComplicating, circulating
New life, new life
Operating, generating
New life, new lifeYour face is hidden and we’re out of sight
And the road just leads to nowhere
The stranger in the door is the same as before
So the question answer’s nowhereComplicating, circulating
New life, new life
Operating, generating
New life, new lifeI stand still stepping on the shady streets
And I watch that man to a stranger
Think you only know me when you turn on the light
Now the room is lit, red dangerComplicating, circulating
New life, new life
Operating, generating
New life, new life

FLESH AND BONE BY THE TELEPHONE, LIFT UP THE RECEIVER I’LL MAKE YOU A BELIEVER…
ALL I EVER WANTED, ALL I EVER NEEDED IS HERE: IN MY ARMS,WORDS ARE VERY UNNECESARY THEY CAN ONLY DO HARM, THEY ARE MEANINGLESS AND FORGETABLE
THERE’LL BE DAYS WHEN I’LL STRAY, I MIGHT APPEAR TO BE CONSTANTLY OUT OF REACH, I GIVE TO SIN, BECAUSE I LIKE TO PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH, I’M NOT TRYING TO SAY I’LL HAVE IT ALL MY WAY, I’M ALWAYS WILLING TO LEARN IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO TEACH
AND I’LL MAKE IT WORTHWHILE, I’LL MAKE YOUR HEART SMILE!!!!
DEPECHE MODE GRANDE!!! REALMENTE GRANDE!!!

Personal Jesus was composed by Martin gore:
Personal Jesus” is Depeche Mode’s twenty-third UK single, released on August 29, 1989, and the first single from the then upcoming album Violator. Since then, the title song has been covered by numerous artists. It was the first hit from the album, reaching #13 on the UK Singles Chart.
The song was inspired by the book Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley. According to songwriter Martin Gore:
It’s a song about being a Jesus for somebody else, someone to give you hope and care. It’s about how Elvis was her man and her mentor and how often that happens in love relationships; how everybody’s heart is like a god in some way, and that’s not a very balanced view of someone, is it?
